Picture Rocks is one of 10 MUSD schools recognized by PBISAZ for thieir hard work installing and sustining Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to improve academic and behavioral outcomes for students.
Collaborative partnerships allow our school to leverage family, school, and community resources to remove barriers to learning and provide essentials to families in need.
Licensed by the AZ Dept. of Health Services, and AZ Dept. of Economic Security approved, our school offers preschool with small/large group activities and enrichment learning activities that promote development in the arts and large motor skills.
Picture Rocks offers a wide variety of academic learning for students, including Gifted Education in Marana (GEM) services, co-taught classes for math and ELA to support students with special needs, exceptional student services programming, english learner programming, and Title I support.
Picture Rocks Elementary School has earned a High Reliability School Level 2 certification, Ensuring Effective Teaching in Every Classroom. The High Reliability School (HRS) program was created by Marzano Resources to help transform schools into organizations that take proactive steps to ensure student success.
